Rusty and Fletch join our Armed Forces for a Magic event!

Army Rugby Union join forces with MA!
Thanks to Lou Dennis for writing this and a massive thanks to our Armed Forces for what they do!
Last week the Army Rugby Union hosted a coaching conference for all coaches working within the CB from community to representative level. Coaches attended Worcester Warriors for 2 days of lots of learning, free lunches and a chance to catch up with the Rugby Coaching community within the Army. It was also great to have representatives and coaches from the Royal Air Force attending too – the more the merrier!
Rusty and Fletch from MA were both invited down to come and deliver some sessions for our coaches who rarely have the chance to get together due to their heavy work schedules and commitments.
Fletch delivered a fantastic indoor session on the importance of creating the right environment for players, this resonated well with the coaches as it transferred to all aspects of their roles within the Army! It was great to see Fletch being curious about how the military works, and challenging coaches thoughts and behaviours!
In the afternoon it was Rusty’s turn to take the helm, he delivered a great outdoor practical session (to burn off the copious amounts of goujons, sandwiches and crisps we had all just eaten!) there seemed to be a lot of “lightbulb” moments and curiosity around the park which was fantastic to see!
The feedback we have had from coaches has been great and we have already had messages to say how they have started to implement their learning into their coaching sessions. We are looking forward to doing more work with the MA in the future to help keep the learning journey going for us all in the Army Rugby Union!
Thanks for “rocking” our coaches worlds.

Coaches contributing include Stuart Lancaster, Eddie Jones, Giselle Mather, Jared Payne, Geoff Parling, Danielle 'Nolli' Waterman, Ian Peel & Joe El Abd to name but a few!
Making the most of their lockdown experience, Rusty and Fletch between podcasts and webinars have designed this latest resource to support Wizards in developing skilful adaptable players and teams. The tactical content will centre around challenges based on Scrum, Lineout, Transition, Attack, Defence, Kick Off, and Huddles.
With the cards themed around 'tactical', Vanessa at Fuzzbox Design has rocked it with a new look and new feel to the Cards .We have maintained the 'never tear' material so that they are completely weather-proof (Stig has tested them in the washing machine).
We know coaches are going to love these and have made them available for pre order now with expected delivery from September
